The Fantastic Apple Store in Meadowhall, Sheffield

Last evening I was watching YouTube videos on my iPhone when I noticed a small dot on the screen, I gave the screen a wipe but it didn’t go, I peeled off the screen protector and still the dot stayed, noooooo, it was under the screen :-(

Today I’ve been to the Apple store in Meadowhall, Sheffield, I’d already called them and booked a “Genius Appointment” for 5pm. They looked at the iPhone and said no problem we’ll fit a new screen :-)

Five minutes later my iPhone was back in my hand :-) . There’s a but!, as I was leaving the shop it popped up on the screen ‘No SIM’ and I noticed a small crack on the back of the case near the data socket, which I’m 99.9% sure was not there when I entered the shop :-(

I went back to the girl that had served me earlier and again she said no problem we will exchange the iPhone. Five minutes later I’ve got another (looks brand new) iPhone in my hand, its sat on my desk as I type this restoring :-)

What can I say, the customer support was second to none, thank you Apple :-)
